Parent Voluntary Contributions

Schools provide students with free instruction to fulfil the standard curriculum requirements and we want to assure you that all contributions are voluntary. Nevertheless, the ongoing support of our families ensures that our school can offer the best possible education and support for our students.

Our school relies upon voluntary parent financial contributions to meet the difference between funds from the Department of Education and our budgeted expenditure each year. Parent Contributions and local fundraising also allow us to fully fund the maintenance of, and improvements to, buildings and grounds.

What do your contributions do?

Stationery

We bulk purchase stationery needed for students. By having resources available onsite, students can have what they need on hand straight away. We find this system helps reduce wastage too so it is much better for the environment.

Year 3 to 12 students are asked to bring along a pencil case.

In classroom resources

We organise class sets for students for core subjects, so students will have their English novels, text books and reference material in the classroom.

Technology support such as iPads and laptops are available in hubs located across the school. Contributions help us keep these updated with the best software and ready to go!

Consumables

Extra materials help fund some great projects and experiences throughout the school - simple items such as cardboard, paint, pens for a project, batteries or led lights for science experiments and more!

Contributions may help us deliver content in an engaging way.

Facilities

A contributions towards our facilites helps us deliver great programs such as Kitchen Garden.

We work diligently to keep our school grounds looking good - and making improvements for our students to enjoy when we can.
